A Taste of Tuscany in the PNW | Washington’s Newest Wedding Venue

In July, our team had the opportunity to partner with a variety of wedding professionals from across the state of Washington to showcase Washington’s newest wedding venue: The Brick House Nursery and Gardens. Tucked in the hills of Eastern Washington, the owners have spent a labour of love over the last several years renovating this property and turning it into a gorgeous venue complete with gardens, getting ready suites, tiny homes for guests, and a full service floral design studio right on the property. What amazed us about this gorgeous space though was the fact that we instantly felt transported to Tuscany the moment we stepped onto the grounds. From the rolling hills backdrop to the arbors with climbing vines to the large reflection pool, it felt like we were in Italy without having left the Pacific Northwest.

This shoot featured an intimate tablescape in the glass greenhouse with a pearl table runner, gold and white taper candlestick holders with ivory candles, gold flatware, ivory linens, gorgeous crystal clear glassware, ivory plates with swirled designs on the edges, and gold foil menus to tie it all together. This design was versatile and elegant while not taking away from the natural beauty of the greenhouse. To add a fun touch to the shoot, a champagne tower pour gave way for lots of laughs while demonstrating the beauty of the property’s reflection pool in the background. A cake cutting with a gorgeous cake surrounded by macarons added a whimsical touch to the day.

This real life couple shown below was just about to celebrate their five year anniversary, but when they initially got married, they had a private courthouse ceremony. To celebrate their upcoming anniversary, they did a vow renewal during the shoot, which added to the authenticity of the day, especially as they had not gotten to have the full wedding experience five years ago. As a nod to their courthouse wedding five years ago, the bride got ready in her original wedding dress that she wore on her wedding day. The tears were flowing from the couple and vendor team alike, which made this day extra special. To finish out the night, the couple did a private dance under the arbors in the courtyard to the song they would have danced to five years ago.

This would not have been possible without the lovely photographers and vendors who came together to provide a fun filled day.
